How can you help?

VOLUNTEERING

TRAMS operates with a wonderful group of volunteers who assist with English, Cooking, Sewing, Computer Classes, Child Minding, Office Administration, Transport, Assistance with Forms, Supporting a Family in the community. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please phone for an appointment with our Coordinator of Volunteers, Celia Warr, on 4632 9285.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT

The Coordinator of Volunteers and Administrative Officer are funded by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC). In addition DIAC funding provides a Caseworker under the Settlement Grants Program. The running costs of the weekly programs, however, rely on donations of goods, services and money from the community and business sector. Monetary donations are tax deductible.

OFFERING YOUR EXPERTISE PRO BONO

If you have a field of expertise e.g. computer support, GP, optometrist, electrician, dentist, gardening etc or have equipment that clients may borrow e.g. trailer for shifting house, please call the office on 4632 9285 or
