Accessing high quality, affordable psychological care is now a whole lot easier. The Centacare Psychology Clinic provides easy access to patients requiring clinical and generalist psychological interventions.

Counselling covers a range of areas from grief and loss to managing clinical issues such as depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. Personal issues such as domestic violence and family or relationship problems can also be addressed.

The CPC services the needs of people who want help with both clinical and personal issues. A person does not have to be suffering from a serious mental illness to access a psychologist. Sometimes people simply need someone to listen as they talk things through.

The Appointment

If a referral has been deemed appropriate after a consultation with a doctor, an appointment can be made with CPC to one of the Clinical Psychologists.

Phone 07 4688 3153 stating that you have a referral from a GP and an appointment will be organised.

The Consultation

Bring along the referral from your GP to enable the consultation to be bulk billed with Medicare. It's a good idea to write down any points that you wish to discuss with the Psychologist so that you don't forget them on the day.

The Cost

Using the mental health care plan from your GP, the Centacare Psychology Clinic will bulk bill Medicare. There are no out of pocket expenses for the client.
